Detail : Hello Mr. Bannerman, I thoroughly enjoy reading about your experiences, I find it inspirational how strong you were and appreciate your soldiers \"politically incorrect\" view on what happened in the war

Detail : Hello Mr. Bannerman! What a pleasure to find your site. I have a photograph of my father, who was in the Seaforth Highlanders (Canadian), somewhere on the Arelli River. I try to find the river many times and suddenly your site popped up, buit my father died last year unfortunately. Well, I am so pleased and i loved reading your material. It reminded me of my father! All the best to you, happy holidays from Tatiana.

Detail : Hello Gordie, I found your site through a Google search. You have undoubtedly put considerable work into it but it is certainly worthwhile. My father, Louis Bezeau, was a gunner and radio operatior in the 17th Field Regiment. He was taken on strength in Italy in August of 1944 and remained with the unit until the end of the war. After the war he attended the regimental reunion in Kenora in 1981 and died three years later. The 1946 regimental history is now a rare book. My sister and I are in the process of putting it online. I will certainly have a link to your site.
